In The Hobbit, Mirkwood is actually the place where Legolas come from, and the thrones realm of Thranduil, the King of Woodland Realm, father of Legolas. Originally called Greenwood the Great, the forest may have once formed part of the vast primeval woodland which covered most of Middle-earth during the Years of the Trees, possibly linked to Lothlórien where Galadriel belongs. It has been stood since the first age of Middle Earth and remain strong until the end.

Just like Mirkwood where it's Legolas hometown, you are the one who know and be with Berna's come from. They said, old friends is a Gold. And yes that sound you to Berna. Been knowing you since the first meet, probably before Berna found his wife soon to be, you know each others so damn well. Through the times fly, you both remain in touch and keep the friendship and treasure the time that you all spent together. You are one of Berna's Support System. And as the deep-rooted of long last Mirkwood forest, Berna hope the friendship and the deep-rooted value you both share will also long lasting.
